Baker J Cafe in Clark, Pampanga: Your Newest Go-To for French Cravings
Baker J Cafe is now serving its best French offerings in Clark, Pampanga
Now, we don’t have to travel hours away just to be able to eat French food. In Clark, Pampanga, there’s one that aims to offer the best and fullest, and that is Baker J Cafe.
Following the first restaurant in Crimson Filinvest City Alabang, Baker J Cafe now has a second full-service restaurant in Quest Plus Clark’s Mimosa Plus Golf Clubhouse. But before their newest location, Baker J Cafe found itself online. In the middle of the quarantine, Baker J Cafe found an opportunity to sell their healthy bakes and pastries as a virtual patisserie in 2020.
Fast forward to 2022, Baker J Cafe brings its French culinary offerings to Pampanga.
James Montenegro, Chroma Hospitality Country Manager, said, “the success has been overwhelming, which prompted management to expand.” “It makes sense that after expanding through kiosks, we open a second full-scale dining outlet, and Quest Plus Clark’s Mimosa Plus Golf Clubhouse is the perfect location,” he added.
Citrus Fairway

Fortunately, we were invited to Quest Plus Clark to experience its signature hospitality and sample what Baker J Cafe offers. During the launch, they served one of their signature drinks called Citrus Fairway, a refreshing, healthy drink to start your day. Next was Baker J Morning basket, a mix of our favorite french bread served with handcrafted preserves and butter.
Egg Benedict with Hollandaise sauce
It’s Egg Benedict with Hollandaise sauce, chicken breast tocino, Crispy smoked pork belly, Arancini croquette, and asparagus for the brunch plate. And for dessert, it’s fresh fruits in season.
To complete the breakfast spread, they also served hot and cold drinks with choices of Nitro coffee, Americano, Cappucino, Caffe Latte, English Breakfast, and Green Tea.
There is so much more on their menu, but what we had already impressed me in terms of servings, taste, and consistency. Plus, the cafe is located right next to a golf course surrounded by century-old trees, and there’s even an option to enjoy your breakfast alfresco.
As a self-confessed foodie, I wanted to know what new things they can offer to fellow foodies worth coming back for in Clark. Here’s what I loved:

They take pride in the French culinary experience– from sourcing ingredients to preparing and then serving– all thanks to French Chef Jean Louise Leon who oversees everything they serve at the cafe.

I love how they take breakfasts seriously. Baker J Cafe offers so much more to start every guest’s day right. They open as early as 6 am– perfect for early risers! They offer the classics such as Eggs Benedict, which you could enjoy with either sauteed spinach (Eggs Florentine) or smoked salmon (Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict). You could also have a vegetarian-friendly Shakshuka or Spicy Beef & Lamb Sausages for meat lovers.
French pastries at their finest
Chef Jean and his team perfected the art of French pastries for Baker J Cafe. From the crisp and flaky croissant to Petite Madeline, the indulgent Kouign Amann of Douarnenez France, French breakfast tartines, to brunch-favorite Croque Monsieur with Grùyere, it’s truly bon appetit.
Their Strawberry Cream Puff is filled with a swirl of not-too-sweet strawberry cream and topped with slices of fresh strawberries. One of my favorites!

Delectable wine and food pairings
Feeling fancy? Try Chef Jean’s take on the classic Coq Au Vin from Burgundy or Quiche Lorraine, then order Confit de Canard with duck confit croquettes. Get their pan-seared salmon steak with ratatouille for your main too. From their extensive menu, you’d also love the variety of cheese and wines you could try. They also have more beverages like summer drinks, detox drinks, coffee, mocktails, and cocktails.
The best part about Baker J Cafe’s newest location is that they’re open as early as 6 am until 7 pm. It’s located at the newly opened Mimosa Plus Golf Clubhouse, just a short distance from Quest Plus Conference Center Clark, all within the Filinvest Estate in Clark, Pampanga.
