Go Hotels Timog Review: Budget-Friendly Hotel in the Vibrant District of QC
Go Hotels Timog: The Perfect Budget-Friendly Choice in QC
If you’re looking for a no-frills accommodation in Quezon City, Go Hotels Timog will surely give you a bang for your buck. Conveniently located in the heart of this lively and vibrant district, this affordable stay is ideal for those who prioritize value and functionality. Because it’s also a budget-friendly hotel, you can plan your family or barkada stays here!
I enjoyed my stay here!
Among its many amazing features, it has speedy Wi-Fi, PWD-friendly rooms which are spacious for comfortable mobility of the guests, and situated near many points of interests such as MRT stations, supermarkets, and more.
We stayed here after their Chinese New Year celebrations where guests were treated to an exciting lion dance and exclusive promotions. The festivity signaled a renewed hope and energy to attract abundant blessings, favorable fortune, and moments of joy to all.
ARRIVAL EXPERIENCE
Checking in at Go Hotels Timog was one of the most memorable ones I have experienced! As I approached the check-in counter, the staff gave me their warmest welcome with smiles. The process was a breeze – I just had to give my details and then my key card was immediately handed.

I think you also wouldn’t mind waiting (if ever you need to), because their lobby is roomy with decorations of the current season or celebration. At one side of the area, there are board games that you can play with.
ROOMS
My room has a queen-sized bed for two, a flat-screen TV, a small dresser, a cozy work area, and a clean bathroom. It has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. For a backpacker like me, this is a decent place to rest without breaking a bank.

I also had the chance to see what the PWD-friendly rooms look like. This room type is 27-sqm big that features a large bathroom with a wide doorway for enhanced comfort and inclusivity. Inside, it is complete with grab bars and has an adequate space for turning and maneuvering.

FOOD
Since Go Hotels Timog is at a prime location, I enjoyed a wide array of choices when it comes to places to eat. For dinner, I tried Gogii Yolii. Just a few steps away from the hotel, this restaurant offers unlimited Korean barbeque for as low as P599.
We got the regular package at Gogii Yolii. We loved the experience!
It offers a great selection of first quality meats and I genuinely loved my experience because the staff are attentive and friendly. Unlike other spots of this kind, each staff member makes sure the guests enjoy their dining experience. And we truly did!
Pares Retiro in Timog is your go-to for budget-friendly meals
The next morning and for lunch, we tried another nearby restaurant – Pares Retiro. If you’re on a budget, this place is also perfect! They offer pares, silog, sisig, and other Filipino comfort food for affordable prices. The customer service is also great! This spot is ideal for those who want a hearty and satisfying meal.
HOTEL FACILITIES
The hotel has booths at the check-in area for services a traveler might need such as massage, laundry, and transportation. I also noticed an area at the lobby called G2G, their version of a convenience store. Guests can just grab and then go to the rooms and won’t need to go outside anymore for a quick snack.

DEPARTURE
Only after a few minutes, I was ready to go after I handed back the key card of my room. They were very pleasant from my arrival until I checked out, giving an impression to guests like me that it’s always a warm experience with Go Hotels Timog (hotel reviews).
Overall, the stay was a nice experience!
